My name is Casey Louise Thornton and I am a photographer, wife and mother. Connecting with and supporting other moms throughout their journey is one of my greatest passions. I love to travel and have explored 32 countries so far! I moved to Germany for two years and that’s where I met my husband and where he bought me my first real camera!!

    In 2021 we had our daughter and now we are living that toddler life! My motherhood journey started during pregnancy. My entire life I have wanted to be a mom. I couldn’t wait to celebrate my maternity, birth and breastfeeding experience. I quickly learned how fast those seasons change and how it can be challenging to remember all of the beautiful details. The newborn season feels like a dream (probably because I was sleep deprived)! I have always been self conscious about my stomach and during pregnancy I LOVED my belly. My maternity photos made me feel beautiful and captivating. That is the feeling I want to give to you! After I had my daughter, I was healing from birth and adjusting to breastfeeding around the clock. I wanted to soak in every second of that precious newborn time because people are quick to tell you it doesn’t last. I want to capture that season for you so it does last. As your newborn photographer I will give you images that allow you to remember every intimate detail and your sweet new connection with baby.

    As my daughter has continued to grow and change it has been the most humble and rewarding experience of my life. Every milestone was more exciting than the last. My phone had about a billion images of my baby but very few with me in them. One of my favorite things about a family session is that you get undivided time to play with and connect to your baby, and I will capture that connection. I was able to breastfeed my daughter for two years and I am very passionate about supporting and encouraging other moms during their breastfeeding journey. I am so glad I documented her first, to her last latch.
