Capturing your pregnancy

I am so happy you've decided to honor and celebrate your body during this time! Creating a little human is nothing short of incredible. I will make sure you feel empowered and beautiful during your maternity photography session with me!

I want you to feel comfortable and excited for your maternity session! Here you will find information to help you prepare. Click on any of the links below to learn more.

What to wear?

Every maternity session should have two outfits! I usually recommend one being more focused on showing your new curves and the other more modest. Your partner can also have two outfits! Here I share what outfits connect the most with my brand editing and portfolio. I want you to feel confident and comfortable in what you wear during your session.

Client Closet!

I offer a client closet that you can utilize if shopping sounds like the last thing you’d like to do! Most of my options are one size fits most. I have a select few in XS and a few options in 2XL as well.

Best Outdoor Locations!

I am always updating this blog but please let me know how far you feel comfortable driving from your home. I also offer studio locations as well as in home for more intimate experiences!

“Must Haves” Baby registry!

This registry I made for all of you first time parents! I want to support you while you prepare for baby. This list is everything you NEED to welcome a newborn and will help you create your own registry stress free!

Newborn Sessions

Bringing home a newborn baby is a huge adjustment! It’s also a very exciting and fleeting time in your lives. I am beyond honored to be welcomed into your lives to capture this incredible time. Newborn sessions can take place in your home or in studio!

-My Safety precautions :  I am fully up to date on all vaccinations. I always wear a mask to my newborn sessions. When I arrive I will wash my hands right away before touching you or your baby. Majority of your session you will be the one holding and maneuvering your newborn. If I need to adjust their body I will ask you beforehand to make sure you feel comfortable.

-Newborn Client Closet!: I have several options for newborn baby boys, girls and gender neutral clothing! I am currently working on gathering a portfolio to show you and in the meantime if you’d like me to bring options I am happy to!

Raw motherhood shower photography session during a newborn photoshoot in home in Seattle

Raw Motherhood, Shower & Bath sessions

I feel very connected to sessions incorporating water. The shower and bath are a place of healing and renewal. During these sessions you can connect with your baby or toddler, skin to skin and relax in the moment.

Shower & Bath sessions can be added onto any in-home session! It’s perfect to capture and honor your growing body during in-home maternity session. Shower and bath sessions are also very easy to incorporate during the last portion of your in-home newborn session. They take approximately 30 minutes and can be added onto your session or booked separately for another time.

Baby breastfeeding during in home newborn photography session in Seattle

Lactation Support!

I am very passionate about supporting people who want to breastfeed. As of April1st 2024 I will be a certified Lactation Educator and will be able to officially offer professional lactation support during your newborn sessions!

I always knew I wanted to breastfeed my children. I did not know it was surprisingly challenging and a learning process that took a lot of support, education and determination. I ended up breastfeeding my daughter until she was two years old and only weaned because we were having a difficult time conceiving another baby. If breastfeeding is something you desire and would like support during your newborn session please let me know! I am currently offering this at no extra charge.
